Integrated Heatsink

The WDS100T2XHE comes with a factory-installed heatsink.

The heatsink helps:

• Dissipate heat
• Manage SSD temperatures
• Maintain sustained performance
• Reduce thermal throttling
• Support demanding gaming workloads

Heatsink Included: Yes

This is the major physical difference from the WDS100T2X0E, which is the SN850X 1TB version without an integrated heatsink.

PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe

The SN850X uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface for high-speed storage communication.

• PCIe Generation: Gen4
• PCIe Lanes: x4
• Storage Protocol: NVMe
• Form Factor: M.2 2280

A compatible PCIe Gen4 system is required to achieve maximum rated performance.

The SN850X uses the standard M.2 2280 form factor.

• Width: 22mm
• Length: 80mm SSD PCB class
• Form Factor: M.2 2280
