*The available resolution, refresh rate, HDR format and color depth depend on the USB-C video capabilities of the source device, its graphics hardware, operating system and the connected HDMI display. Some maximum modes may require Display Stream Compression.

The USB-C port on the source device must support video output through DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt. A USB-C port used only for charging or basic data transfer will not output video through this cable.
