Story

Long ago, two gigantic titans—the Bionis and Mechonis—fought until both eventually became frozen in death.

Life later developed across their enormous bodies.

The Bionis became home to the Homs, while mechanical enemies known as the Mechon emerged from the Mechonis. After a devastating attack, young scientist Shulk takes up the Monado, a legendary weapon capable of piercing Mechon armor.

But the Monado holds another mysterious ability: it allows Shulk to glimpse events that have not yet happened.

Alongside his companions, Shulk begins a journey across the titans to fight the Mechon, understand the true power of the Monado, and determine whether the future he sees can actually be changed.

Strategic Real-Time Combat

Xenoblade Chronicles combines elements of real-time action with strategic RPG combat.

Characters automatically attack enemies when positioned within range, while the player selects special abilities called Arts at the right moment.

Successful combat requires careful use of:
