Passive Conversion Design

The UGREEN 10204 uses a passive DisplayPort-to-HDMI design. The DisplayPort source must therefore support the required HDMI-compatible output conversion, commonly identified as Dual-Mode DisplayPort or DP++.

Many desktop graphics cards support this function, but compatibility should be confirmed when using older computers, docking stations or specialized equipment.

If the source does not support passive DisplayPort-to-HDMI conversion, an active converter is required.
