Description

The UGREEN CM101 40744 HDMI to HDMI + VGA Converter is a multi-output video adapter designed to connect an HDMI source device to either a modern HDMI display or an older VGA monitor/projector.

It features an HDMI female output supporting up to 4K@30Hz, a VGA female output supporting up to 1920×1200@60Hz, a 3.5mm audio output, and a Micro-USB 5V power port. The HDMI and VGA outputs are selectable alternatives and cannot be used simultaneously.

Important naming note: Despite some listings calling it “Micro HDMI,” the 40744/CM101 uses a full-size HDMI male input, not a Micro-HDMI video input. “Micro USB” refers to its 5V power port.

Important Compatibility Notes

The UGREEN 40744 is HDMI source → HDMI/VGA display. It is not designed to convert a VGA source into HDMI.

Also, its maximum HDMI output is 4K@30Hz, so it is not suitable for 4K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, or other high-refresh 4K gaming applications. For VGA, the maximum listed resolution is 1920×1200@60Hz.
