Key Features

Blue Low-Profile Mechanical Switches

The K589 features Blue LP mechanical switches for users who enjoy a tactile, clicky typing experience.

They provide:

• Tactile feedback during key presses
• An audible mechanical click
• Low-profile switch construction
• A distinct feel for gaming and typing

Blue switches produce audible typing noise.

Slim Low-Profile Design

The Shrapnel’s low-profile keys create a slimmer typing surface than conventional tall mechanical keyboard designs.

The reduced key height offers a compact appearance while retaining individual mechanical switches.

Full-Size Keyboard Layout

The full-size design provides the essential keys needed for gaming and everyday computer use, including:

• Function-key row
• Dedicated arrow keys
• Navigation keys
• Numeric keypad

The number pad is convenient for spreadsheets, calculations, and numerical data entry.

Full-Key Anti-Ghosting

Full-key anti-ghosting helps the keyboard register multiple simultaneous key presses.

This supports combinations such as moving, sprinting, jumping, and activating abilities during gameplay.

The K589 supports full-key rollover for complex keyboard inputs.

RGB Gaming Backlighting

RGB illumination adds color to your gaming setup and makes the keys easier to see in dim surroundings.

Choose lighting effects, adjust the illumination, or switch the backlight off to suit your preferences.

Programmable Macro Support

Compatible keyboard software supports macro programming and backlight configuration.

Macros allow sequences of key commands to be assigned for convenient access during supported games or repetitive tasks.

Software is used for advanced customization.

Adjustable Typing Angle

Adjustable rear feet let you change the keyboard’s angle to suit your desk position and typing preference.

The solid frame provides a stable platform for gaming and everyday use.

Wired USB Connection

The K589 connects directly to your computer through USB.

• Consistent wired operation
• No wireless pairing
