Factory Overclocked Performance

The DUAL-RTX5050-O8G is ASUS's factory-overclocked version of the RTX 5050.

• Default Boost Clock: 2647MHz
• OC Mode: Up to 2677MHz

By comparison, ASUS's standard non-OC Dual RTX 5050 is rated for a 2572MHz default boost clock, making this OC model the faster factory-tuned variant.

8GB GDDR6 Memory

• Capacity: 8GB
• Memory Type: GDDR6
• Memory Speed: 20Gbps
• Memory Interface: 128-bit

The 8GB framebuffer is designed for modern gaming workloads, high-resolution textures, creative applications, and GPU-accelerated software.

Dual-Fan Cooling

The ASUS Dual RTX 5050 uses a compact two-fan active cooling system.

• 2 × cooling fans
• ASUS Axial-tech fan design
• Compact heatsink construction
• Optimized airflow
• Designed for gaming workloads
• Compact two-slot form factor

The combination of two fans and a short PCB makes the card particularly suitable for compact gaming PCs.

Display Connectivity

The card provides four modern digital display outputs:

• 1 × HDMI 2.1b
• 3 × DisplayPort 2.1b
• Up to 4 displays simultaneously
• HDCP 2.3 support
• Maximum digital resolution up to 7680 × 4320

This provides connectivity for gaming monitors, high-refresh-rate displays, TVs, and multi-monitor desktop setups.

Compact 203mm Design

One of the major advantages of the ASUS Dual RTX 5050 is its compact size.

The card measures approximately:

203 × 120.2 × 40 mm

At just 203mm long, it can fit into many smaller cases where longer triple-fan graphics cards may not be practical. ASUS specifies the card as a 2-slot design on its Egypt technical specifications page.

Power Requirements

The card uses a conventional:

• 1 × 8-pin PCIe power connector

ASUS recommends a 550W power supply, although actual PSU requirements depend on the processor and other components installed in the system.

The standard 8-pin connector also makes installation straightforward for many existing gaming PC power supplies.

Gaming Features

As part of NVIDIA's RTX family, the RTX 5050 is designed to support modern gaming technologies, including:

• Hardware-accelerated ray tracing
• NVIDIA DLSS
• AI-enhanced graphics technologies
• NVIDIA Reflex
• NVIDIA G-SYNC
• DirectX 12 Ultimate
• Resizable BAR
• Modern high-refresh-rate gaming displays

Feature availability and performance depend on the game, driver, display, and system configuration.

ASUS GPU Tweak III

The card supports ASUS GPU Tweak III, allowing compatible systems to monitor and adjust graphics-card settings.

Users can access functions such as:

• GPU clock monitoring
• Temperature monitoring
• Fan monitoring
• Performance tuning
• GPU statistics
• OC Mode configuration

ASUS also lists support for NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers and Studio Drivers.
