Description

The MADLIONS MAD 60 HE is a compact 60% magnetic gaming keyboard designed for competitive FPS and esports players who prioritize fast response, adjustable actuation, and precise movement control.

This 1K Standard / No-RGB version uses Magnetic Amber Pro linear Hall Effect switches, allowing customizable actuation rather than relying on a fixed mechanical contact point. It also supports Rapid Trigger, enabling keys to reset dynamically as they are released for faster repeated inputs.

The keyboard combines a 1000Hz polling rate, 32KHz scan rate, PBT keycaps, hot-swappable magnetic switches, and a compact 60% layout that leaves additional desk space for large mouse movements.

Magnetic Amber Pro Hall Effect Switches

Unlike conventional mechanical switches that activate through physical electrical contacts, the MAD 60 HE uses magnetic Hall Effect sensing.

The included Amber Pro magnetic switches provide linear operation and allow the keyboard to detect how far a key has been pressed.

This enables advanced gaming functions such as:

• Adjustable Actuation
• Rapid Trigger
• Dynamic Key Reset
• Customizable Key Travel
• Zero Dead Zone Adjustment
• Faster Repeated Inputs

This makes the keyboard particularly suitable for competitive FPS games where movement and counter-strafing speed are important.

Magnetic Amber Pro Switch Specifications

Rapid Trigger

Rapid Trigger dynamically changes when a key resets based on its movement rather than forcing the switch to return to a traditional fixed reset point.

This can make repeated movement inputs significantly more responsive.

It is particularly useful for:

• Counter-Strafing
• Rapid Direction Changes
• A/D Movement
• FPS Movement
• Competitive Shooters
• Rhythm Games
• Repeated Key Inputs

Adjustable Actuation

Because the keyboard uses Hall Effect sensing, the activation point can be customized instead of being permanently fixed like a traditional mechanical switch.

A shallower actuation setting can provide extremely fast response for gaming, while a deeper setting can help reduce accidental key presses.

1000Hz Polling Rate

This specific MAD 60 HE variant uses a 1000Hz / 1K polling rate.

That means the keyboard can report input to the connected computer up to approximately 1,000 times per second.

The product specification also lists:

• Polling Rate: 1000Hz
• Scan Rate: 32KHz
• Rated Latency: 0.125ms

Important 1K vs 8K Note

This listing is specifically for the 1K version.

MADLIONS manufactures other MAD 60 HE variants with higher polling rates, including 8K models, but this product should be advertised as:

1000Hz / 1K Polling Rate

Do not list this specific version as an 8000Hz keyboard.

32KHz Scan Rate

The keyboard internally scans for key changes at a specified 32KHz scan rate, while communication with the PC operates at the model's 1000Hz polling rate.

These are two different specifications and should not be confused with each other.

60% Compact Layout

The MAD 60 HE uses an ultra-compact 60% layout.

By removing the dedicated number pad, function-key row, and navigation cluster found on full-size keyboards, the MAD 60 HE leaves considerably more desk space for mouse movement.

This is especially useful for:

• FPS Gaming
• Low-DPI Mouse Players
• Small Gaming Desks
• Portable Gaming Setups
• Minimalist Setups
• Esports Players

PBT Keycaps

The keyboard uses PBT keycaps, providing a more durable keycap material than basic ABS implementations.

PBT is popular among gaming and enthusiast keyboards because of its resistance to wear and shine during extended use.

Hot-Swappable Magnetic Switches

The MAD 60 HE supports removable magnetic switches.

This allows compatible magnetic switches to be replaced without conventional soldering.

Important: Hall Effect keyboards require electrically and magnetically compatible switches. Compatibility should be verified before installing third-party magnetic switches.

No RGB Lighting

This specific model is the Without RGB / No Backlight version.

It should be listed as:

Lighting: No Lighting

This is important because MADLIONS also sells visually similar MAD 60 HE RGB versions.

Wired Connection

The MAD 60 HE uses a wired USB connection designed to provide a stable connection for competitive gaming.

Connectivity

• Connection Type: Wired
• Interface: USB / USB-C keyboard interface
• Cable Length: Approx. 200cm / 2m
• Bluetooth: No
• 2.4GHz Wireless: No

Important Mechanical vs Magnetic Note

Although the MAD 60 HE is commonly marketed as a mechanical gaming keyboard, its Amber Pro switches use Hall Effect magnetic sensing.

For product filtering, the more technically accurate classification is:

Switch Type: Magnetic / Hall Effect

rather than a traditional Red, Blue, or Brown mechanical switch.

Important RGB Note

This product is specifically the Without RGB version.

MADLIONS also manufactures RGB versions of the MAD 60 HE with similar names and appearance. This listing should therefore remain:

Lighting: No Lighting

and should not advertise 16.8-million-color RGB features belonging to other variants.

Important Polling Rate Note

This is specifically the 1K / 1000Hz version.

Other MADLIONS MAD 60 HE variants may support 8000Hz, but those specifications should not be transferred to this 1K model.

Important Hall Effect Compatibility Note

The keyboard supports removable magnetic switches, but this does not mean every standard mechanical or magnetic switch is compatible.

Only use switches confirmed to be compatible with the MAD 60 HE's Hall Effect sensing system.

Important Note – Open Sealed

This product is listed as Open Sealed, meaning the original packaging has been opened.
